Seymour Special Education Parent’s Advisory Council (SEPAC)

Seymour Special Education Parent’s Advisory Council (SEPAC) is a parent support group founded in 1988, has a partnership with the Seymour Community Schools.  Their mission is to increase recognition and understanding of children, youth and adults with special needs.  SEPAC officers also meet with Special Education Administration to collaborate on a School and Community Partnership.  Monthly meetings are held which give parents a time to meet and support each other.SEPAC offers a scholarship to a student with a special need and a student planning to study special education or an associated field.   They also assist with the Prince and Princess contest during the Oktoberfest, and sponsor the Arts and Craft Market annually the Saturday before Thanksgiving at the American Legion Annex.They can be contacted by calling:  Beth White 525-2292; Kristye Lewis 521-0901; Mary Carlson 580-1008; or Shelie Brummett 569-4212.  Their address is PO Box 1028, Seymour, IN 47274.
